Here are some of the many Islamic manners:
- The Greeting, (As-Salaam);
- A smiling, cheerful face
- Eating and drinking with your right hand;
- Before eating or drinking, one should say Bismillah (In the name of Allah);
- After eating or drinking, say, Alhamdulillah (All praise is for Allah);
- After sneezing say, AlhamdulillahÂ
- If another person sneezes and says Alhamdulillah, say Yarhamukallah (May Allah have mercy on you);
- Visiting the sick;
- Following a funeral â by praying the funeral prayer and attending the burial;
- Following the Islamic manners when you enter the Masjid or your home, and when you leave them;
- Following Islamic manners when
- you travel;
- Deal with your parents, your relatives, your neighbours, your elders, and those younger than you.
- Congratulate the parents upon the birth of a child;
- Saying an invocation of blessings when there is a marriage;
- Consoling the afflicted;
- And all other Islamic manners, including the way we wear or remove our dress and shoes.
